Dragons Be Us – Additional Artworks 12″x18″

Drawing: Paper, Pastel, Gel Pen and Acrylic Pen on Paper.

Unique geometric, abstract, non premeditated art drawn by hand from subconsciousness, with no aid of computer or computer software, ruers and such. Each drawing carries messages hidden within, including those that are written out in ink hiding in abstract.

It is a small artwork easily transported and placed in small spaces, yet it creates innumerable hours of pondering and conversation starters.

Artwork comes unframed, treated with matt UV protective layer. Artwork can be framed upon request, please contact Maria prior commenting the purchase to arrange for framing choices and pricing adjustments. Please don’t hesitate to visit website www.marialankina.com to learn more about the process, the thoughts and emotions behind creating this artwork.

Mediums used :

Strathmore black fine art paper. Gel pens, neon pens, neon pastels, pastels, acrylic markers, glitter gel pens.
Glitter responds beautifully to variety of lighting conditions. Color seen on select artworks activates and glows in black uv / uv light, revealing additional hidden perspectives of the piece. Please visit www.marialankina.com for additional demonstration including videos and photographs of the artwork in variety of lighting conditions. It is rather multidimensional while still being a two dimensional art : drawing on paper.

Please visit part of the website www.marialankina.com highlighting the exhibit of 80 works DRAGONS BE US during THE NEW RED DOT ART FAIR, during Art Basel Miami 2018 Days to view additional images, read and hear the feedback on the impression artwork creates when viewed in person.
